| Teri Wiechart President 2026 Teri is a nationally recognized ADI trainer and coach whose work blends clear instruction with the deep, reflective coaching teachers need to truly internalize acquisition‑driven practices. She believes coaching is the heart of effective ADI training—where modeling becomes actionable, feedback becomes transformative, and teachers build confident, intentional routines. Through workshops, coaching cycles, and community leadership, Teri empowers educators to create meaningful, relationship‑driven learning grounded in the science of acquisition. Teri worked as a social studies and French teacher at Delphos Jefferson High School from 1975 to 2010. Since her retirement, she has worked as a consultant to the Ohio Department of Education. She has been a trainer for teachers wanting to teach towards Language Acquisition since 2001, working independently as well as at the National TPRS Conference, 2007-2015, iFLT 2010, 2012- 2019, and the CI Summit 2023 & 2024.She is actively involved on the Executive Board of the Ohio World Language Association. |
 | Michelle Kindt President-Elect 2026 President 2027 Dr. Michelle Kindt has over 20 years of teaching experience at both the middle and high school levels in public education. A National Board-Certified teacher, Michelle currently works as a French teacher (Grades 6, 7 & 8) at Sharon Middle School in Sharon, MA. Michelle works with language teachers all over the country touting the message of Comprehensible Input (CI), Acquisition-driven Instruction (ADI) and happy classrooms! As a teacher-trainer and coach, Michelle has regularly worked with small cohorts of teachers, training and coaching them in ADI strategies to take back to their classrooms. Michelle encourages WL teachers to stretch their abilities by participating in Skills-Lab practice. She believes that working with a coach will make all the difference in using CI in your classroom! |
| Bess Hayles Treasurer Bess Hayles has taught French in the Kansas City area for over 19 years, using almost exclusively ADI skills. She has presented at national, regional, and local conferences and is the author of the Embedded Readings in the Voces Notre Histoire curriculum. In her “spare” time, she is a trivia host, bartender, and works at Arrowhead, the home of the Kansas City Chiefs. Ask her about teaching IB with ADI, Saturday Night Live, the Chiefs, or her love of clapping. |
| Becky (Rebecca) Moulton Executive Secretary/Membership Chair She is an experienced educator, presenter, and trained teacher coach with 30 years of classroom experience. She is a founding member and Executive Board member of the World Language Coaching Collaborative (WLCC). Becky has served as a teacher coach since 2017, supporting educators in building Acquisition-Driven Instruction (ADI) skills. Becky began using ADI in 1998 early in her high school teaching career and has been refining her practice ever since. She has continued to learn and share her experience as a presenter, cohort team member, and teacher coach at top conferences including CI Summit, FM/IFLT, MIWLA and MittenCI. She loves helping teachers build their skills and expand their ADI practice so they can teach with more confidence and joy. A life-long learner, Becky believes that the coaching process benefits teachers at every stage, from new educators to seasoned veterans. Becky is passionate about reading, engaging students in meaningful ways, and weaving music and culture into lessons. Becky’s teaching style echoes her personality. She is creative, caring, positive, and enthusiastic about learning and teaching. |
